The mission of the Jackson in Action 83 Foundation is to provide support to military families, focusing on the educational, emotional, and physical health of the children. The foundation was started by Widefield High School graduate and former NFL wide receiver, Vincent Jackson. As the son of military parents, Vincent understood firsthand what it was like growing up in a military family, therefore his passion centered on supporting military families much like his own. Vincent and his wife, Lindsey, authored three children’s books that each address educational, emotional, and physical challenges faced by many military children. The Jackson in Action 83 Foundation was proud to donate copies of the Danny Dogtags book series to French Elementary School. To learn more about the foundation, visit www.jacksoninaction83.org.
